Heylys does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details to use it. We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies, and we do not track your usage, location, or behavior.
All content you create in Heylys — your bouquet arrangements, garden (saved bouquets), message, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage or iOS app storage. It is not uploaded anywhere unless you use one of the two optional features below.
When you tap "Share link", the bouquet you are sharing — its flower arrangement data, the vase choice, the short message you wrote, and a small preview image of the bouquet (used for the link's preview card in chat apps and social media) — is uploaded to our server and stored under a random link ID, so that the person you send the link to can see your bouquet. No name, account, device identifier, or location is attached. Anyone who has the link can view that bouquet. If you never use the share feature, nothing is ever uploaded.
If you send feedback from inside the app, the text you write — and contact details only if you choose to include them — is transmitted to us and stored so we can read it and reply. It is used for nothing else.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to outside parties. Share links and feedback are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (our hosting provider), which processes this data on our behalf.
On iOS, Heylys may request permission to save images to your Photo Library when you choose to save a bouquet. This permission is used solely to save the image you explicitly request to save. Heylys does not read from your Photo Library.
On iOS, Heylys may request permission to send local notifications (a gentle daily reminder to arrange your bouquet). These notifications are generated entirely on-device and are never sent to any server. You can disable them at any time in your device Settings.
Arranging, saving, and browsing your garden work fully offline — an internet connection is only used when you create or open a share link, or send feedback. The web version is served over HTTPS and does not set any tracking cookies.
Heylys is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce meaningful changes clearly.
